Custom Training Plans

As a qualified personal fitness trainer, Andy can combine his knowledge of climbing and fitness training to create a training plan to suit you.  He’ll help you develop your climbing goals, take a holistic approach to all aspects of your climbing and write a plan that will bring the biggest results.

For those looking to climb hard boulder problems or top end sports routes, various combinations of strength, power and endurance training are the primary concerns.  For the rest of us mere mortals, technique tends to be the area that lets us down and balance, co-ordination and specific movement skills training will usually be the order of the day.  However, we’re all individuals so there’s nothing “off the shelf” in our programmes.

Initial assessment is normally based at a climbing wall and takes 1-2 hours depending on what you need.
